what causes headache?

Your head hurts. Again. You rub your eyes, twist your neck around and listen to the cracking and snapping noises in your neck. Why do you have another headache?
Headaches can happen for many reasons. You may have eyestrain from spending too much time on your laptop, you could have an inflammation of your sinus cavities or it could be a life-threatening condition like a tumor, brain cancer, or encephalitis. You can also get a headache if you’re dehydrated or hungry.
More than likely it’s simply a tension headache.
Tension headaches are caused by tightening in the muscles in shoulders, neck, scalp and jaw. I’ll bet you didn’t realize that you had muscles in your scalp, much less that they could contract. These are tension headaches. The contractions of these muscles are often due to stress, depression or anxiety. If you’re working too much, not getting enough rest, not eating properly or using alcohol or drugs you’re probably more prone to getting tension headaches. Migraines and cluster headaches appear to be related to swelling of blood vessels. The pain comes from the blood vessel walls, membrane coverings of the brain and the muscles in the scalp and neck. Your brain itself actually cannot feel pain. Inflammation of your sinuses is also a common cause of headaches.
In your quest to determine the cause of your headaches, it’s a good idea to keep a headache journal. Get a little notebook and write down every time every time you get a headache. What did you eat before it happened? What activities were you engaged in? Did your vision change? Did you become sensitive to light? You’ll be able to see patterns of what may bring on your pain, like stress, food triggers, medications, and menstrual cycles. Foods that have been found to trigger certain headaches are chocolate, cheese and MSG (monosodium glutamate). Your mileage may vary in what triggers your headaches.
Your tension headache can be caused by engaging in an activity that requires you to keep your head in the same position for an extended period of time—like using a computer or a microscope or any other repetitive action. It could also be caused by sleeping in an odd position, clenching your jaw, grinding your teeth while asleep or sleeping in a cold room.
Once you know what causes your headaches, you’re more likely to be able to avoid them in the future.

Secret of Life
Sweet Morning!!!
The secret of life is to make the best of whatever comes along, Make every day fresh and new, Go in search of knowledge and experience.
Let your questions and your answers reconcile. Do your best to remember that the best kind of learning curve is an educated smile.
Share your magic with the people who share your memories. Let your feelings run deep.
Be in touch with the people who live in your heart. Be a caring person who plays for keeps.
To really know what success means, earn it. Don't rely on some elevator to get you there. The higher the floor you want to reach, the more important it is to take the stairs.
The easiest lessons to remember are the ones you learn the hard way!
Appreciate the little things that make each day unique and special.
Have A Beautiful Day!!!

Mini-muscleman: Meet the world"s smallest bodybuilder
At just 2ft 9in, Indian muscleman Aditya "Romeo" Dev is the world"s smallest bodybuilder.
Pint-sized Romeo is well-known in his hometown of Phagwara, India - for his ability to lift 1.5kg dumbbells - despite his overall 9kg body weight. Every day, crowds flock to the local gym to the see the mini-muscleman in training.

Mini muscleman: Romeo, pictured with his trainer Ranjeet Pal, weighs just 1 st 6 lbs
Unlike many dwarfs, Romeo is well proportioned, with a head circumference of 15in and a chest measurement of 20in.
Romeo said: "I"ve been training as a bodybuilder for the last two years and by now I think I must be the strongest dwarf in the world.
"I have always been fit but since I started working out, I have become famous for my strength.
"My size has never stopped me. I train with dumbbells and do aerobics and dance. People are always pleased to see me. I have been invited on TV shows and dance on stage."

Howzat: Romeo bats away any doubts about his sporting prowess prompted by his size
His trainer Ranjeet Pal spents hours helping his 19-year-old protege build his small muscles to perfection.
"Because of his small size, I don"t assign him hard exercises. But Romeo trains more or less the same as anyone else and he"s much more determined.
"When he first started, I insisted he did a month of basic exercises like aerobics, push-ups and basic gymnastics to prepare his body.

Possibly the strongest dwarf in the world: Romeo and his 1.5kg dumbbells
"After that, I made lightweight dumbbells and taught him basic weight-lifting exercises to shape his biceps and triceps. His size and his weight were taken care of so that he never hurt himself."
Determined Romeo is hoping to have an entertainment career after performing in many local TV shows.
He said: "I earn good money through my dance and bodybuilding shows but being rich doesn"t interest me.
"My dream is to travel a lot - I want to perform in London with my idol, Jazzy-B."

Big dreamer: Romeo hopes to become a famous star both in India and abroad

First aid
Let's say it's 6.15p m and you're going home (alone of course), after an unusually hard day on the job. You're really tired, upset and frustrated.
Suddenly you start experiencing severe pain in your chest that starts to adiate out into your arm and up into your jaw. You are only about five miles from the hospital nearest your home. Unfortunately you don't know if you'll be able to make it that far. You have been trained in CPR, but the guy that taught the course did not tell you how to perform it on yourself.
HOW TO SURVIVE A HEART ATTACK WHEN ALONE Since many people are alone when they suffer a heart attack, without help, the person whose heart is beating improperly and who begins to feel faint, has only about 10 seconds left before losing consciousness.
However, these victims can help themselves by coughing repeatedly and very vigorously. A deep breath should be taken before each cough, and the cough must be deep and prolonged, as when producing sputum from deep inside the chest.
A breath and a cough must be repeated about every two seconds without let-up until help arrives, or until the heart is felt to be beating normally again.
Deep breaths get oxygen into the lungs and coughing movements squeeze the heart and keep the blood circulating. The squeezing pressure on the heart also helps it regain normal rhythm. In this way, heart attack victims can get to a hospital. Tell as many other people as possible about this. It could save their lives!!

Heart Attacks and drinking warm water
Heart Attacks and drinking warm water.... This is a very good article. Not only about the warm water after your meal, but about heart attacks. This makes sense.. the Chinese and Japanese drink hot tea with their meals...not cold water...maybe it is time we adopt their drinking habit while eating!!!
Nothing to lose, everything to gain... For those who like to drink cold water, this article is applicable to you. It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal. However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will
slow down the digestion. Once this "sludge" reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine.
Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer. It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal. A serious note about heart attacks: You should know that not every heart attack symptom is going to be the left arm hurting. Be aware of intense
pain in the jaw line. You may never have the first chest pain during the course of a heart attack. Nausea and intense sweating are also common symptoms. 60% of people who have a heart attack while they are asleep do not wake up.
Pain in the jaw can wake you from a sound sleep. Let's be careful and be aware. The more we know, the better chance we could survive...
A cardiologist says if everyone who gets this mail sends it to 10 people, you can be sure that we'll save at least one life. Read this...
It could save your life!!
**Please be a true friend and send this article to all your friends you
care.

Lighting The Way
If I was one thing, I’d be a candle Lighting the way so you can handle Your life easier without woes Not having to fight with your foes.
I’d help keep you from stumbling over Things blocking your path to an open door. If I light your path, life is easier, Even strong winds, my light will not deter.
No matter what, I’m here for you To cheer you up when you are blue. Do not fret when times get tough, If things look down or kind of rough.
Just remember, I’m always here, In your heart, close and near. I will help you out in every way, Happiness and love in your heart will stay.
Don’t blow me out, that’s one request Unless it’s me you do detest. I do not try to hurt anyone That isn’t good or any fun.
But one day you may leave me behind You may no longer need my light to shine. If that day comes, go on your way And I will hope to see you again one day.
If one day, I don’t appear, Do not worry, do not fear I may be gone, but in your heart The light I gave you did not depart.
It will be there forever and a day To always bring happiness and light your way. Farewell for now, I’m needed elsewhere If your path grows dark, in your heart, I’m there.
So I’m really not gone, just not seen, I would not leave, I’m not that mean. Only one simple request that I must say, Please, never forget those who lit your way.

Two Days Without Worry
There are two days in every week about which we should not worry, two days which should be kept free from fear and apprehension.
One of these days is Yesterday with all its mistakes and cares, its faults and blunders, its aches and pains. Yesterday has passed forever beyond our control. All the money in the world cannot bring back Yesterday.
We cannot undo a single act we performed; we cannot erase a single word we said. Yesterday is gone forever.
The other day we should not worry about is Tomorrow with all its possible adversities, its burdens, its large promise and its poor performance; Tomorrow is also beyond our immediate control.
Tomorrow’s sun will rise, either in splendor or behind a mask of clouds, but it will rise. Until it does, we have no stake in Tomorrow, for it is yet to be born.
This leaves only one day, Today. Any person can fight the battle of just one day. It is when you and I add the burdens of those two awful eternities, Yesterday and Tomorrow that we break down.
It is not the experience of Today that drives a person mad, it is the remorse or bitterness of something which happened Yesterday and the dread of what Tomorrow may bring.
Let us, therefore, Live but one day at a time.

ONE PARAGRAPH THAT EXPLAINS LIFE!
Arthur Ashe, the legendary Wimbledon player was dying of AIDS which he got due to infected blood he received during a heart surgery in 1983. From world over, he received letters from his fans, one of which conveyed: "Why does GOD have to select you for such a bad disease"?
To this Arthur Ashe replied: The world over -- 5 crore children start playing tennis, 50 lakh learn to play tennis, 5 lakh learn professional tennis, 50,000 come to the circuit, 500 reach the grand slam, 50 reach Wimbledon, 4 to semi final, 2 to the finals, When I was holding a cup I never asked GOD "Why me?". And today in pain I should not be asking GOD "Why me?"
Happiness keeps u Sweet, Trials keep u Strong, Sorrow keeps u Human, Failure Keeps u Humble, Success keeps u Glowing, But only God Keeps u Going.....
Keep Going......................
